The spelling bee is finally over. I can't say that it was a lot of work because really it wasn't. The kids did really well and seemed to have a good time. We have some really great spellers in our school!! In fact, I almost ran out of words and two fellow teachers had to come to my rescue! Overall I though it was very successful. I wish I had remembered to have prizes reading ahead of time, but I told the kids that prizes were going to be awarded during morning announcements on Monday. I am not sure if I am going to be able to get trophies by then or if I am going to have to make certificates somehow. No matter what the winners will be given something on Monday!
