Days 2 - 4

Mama can we pleeeeeaaaasssssseeeee go outside and play in the snow?
And now for the serious stuff.....
Did you think I was actually going to have time to post each day individually? Funny. I would LOVE to blog every day but there is this thing called the work week! Then there are these pesky people that live in my house that keep demanding things of me! One wants juice, one wants dinner, and the other just wants the toddler to leave her alone! Any idea how to make them all go away? They seem pretty comfortable here...

Anyways on the Weight Watchers front things are going well I suppose. I haven't gone crazy and used all of my daily points in like...a day! For those of you who don't know about Weight Watchers it is pretty simple. Basically every food has a point value that ranges from 0 (kiwi, carrots, water) to 1 million (an entire cheesecake? I don't know I am making that up!) Anyways, you are given so many points for each day. The best part is that for each week you have 35 bonus points that can be spent at anytime. It is cool if you want to go crazy and gorge yourself one day or if you want a few extra points each day. So I have been using my extra points to stay within the legal limits.

I did learn that eggs are very filling and that I can make a kick ass omelet! (Egg Beaters, crumbled up bacon, and fat free cheese) In other food news, tomorrow Amorelle and I are going to make two soups that are both zero points. All of the ingredients for a garden vegetable soup and some sort of Mexican soup. We are also going to make fluff. I am not really sure how to describe except that it has cool whip and yogurt in it. I'll let you know how the cooking goes... it could make or break this whole eating vegetables thing for me!

Day 1

So we will see how this goes. I may not even tell people that I started a blog again. For the longest time the blog has been a way for me to check in on Laura and Andrew. (Because you need a blogger account to login and access their blog.)

Amorelle and I started Weight Watchers yesterday. Today was our first official day. It really didn't start off so wonderful. I ate a banana for breakfast but then had to run Christian to a therapy appointment. Then I had to run to a doctors appointment. Remember the whole not letting yourself get hungry thing? Yeah well.... by 12:30 I was starving!!

We had Chick-Fil-A for lunch. We thought that was going to be a major problem and mess everything up, but it didn't. The Char-grill Chicken Fila was only 5 points, who knew? Anyways after lunch I ran to the dentist, Target, Good Will, and Walgreens. Then I remember that it is Wednesday and that means dinner at Mom Mom's house. Woops! So I take Alexia, Fern, and Christian and we drive to Mom Mom's to have tuna noodle casserole. I wonder what this is going to the point system.... better go figure that out. Okay so google says 14 points. That's 2 for a banana, 15 for lunch, and 17 for dinner. If I don't eat anything else today can we call it even?

Probably NOT the best first day ever... maybe tomorrow will be better?
